Nicolaas Martin Grobler, M.D. is a multi-board-certified specialist in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He has been a physician at Inland Pulmonary Medical Group since 2008.
Dr. Grobler has studied at institutions across the globe. He started with a Bachelor in Biology with a minor in Latin at Loyola Marymount University, not far from Inland Pulmonary. After graduating in 1994, he attended the University of Vienna to receive his Doctor of Medicine. After a one-year internship at Johns Hopkins University, he stayed in Baltimore to complete his residency in internal medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. He then went to New York for a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Prior to coming to Inland Pulmonary, Dr. Grobler served as the locum tenens physician at Central Medical Clinic in Chino, CA. He returned there in 2008 after a brief stay at Pulmonary Care of Central Florida. In addition to his work at Inland Pulmonary, Dr. Grobler also works as the critical care unit medical director at San Antonio Regional Hospital and the QA director at Country Oaks Care Center.
Dr. Grobler has board certifications in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He is bilingual, able to speak both English and German.
