Before joining the Inland Pulmonary Medical Group, he served as Chief of Internal Medicine at the Western Plains Medical Complex and worked as an internist at the Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He has also conducted research on the treatment of tuberculosis.

Dr. Qadeer distinguished himself early in his academic career, out-achieving his classmates in Pakistan to earn the awards of Best Student of the Year and First Position in his secondary school class. He maintained high personal standards throughout his medical training, receiving certificates of merit while earning his higher secondary certificate and bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery.

After placing fifth among all male doctors in the Sindh province of Pakistan on the medical licensing examination in 1999, Dr. Qadeer moved to the United States to complete a residency in internal medicine at Texas Tech University. He became a licensed physician in 2004 when he obtained a Kansas state medical license and certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Qadeer has served on committees that focus on both continuing physician education and patient care and has volunteered his time to a patient welfare committee in Pakistan.

He is fluent in English and Urdu and has extensive experience caring for Spanish-speaking members of his community.
