Dr. Gonzalez attended Weber State University from August 2004 to May 2008 and earned both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. From January 2009 to June 2014, Dr. Gonzalez was a student at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, where he received a Doctor of Medicine. He participated in a pre-internship program at St. Joseph’s Medical Center through New York Medical College from July 2013 to June 2014 in conjunction with his doctorate program. At Mid-Hudson Family Medicine Residency in Kingston, NY, Dr. Gonzalez served as a family medicine resident physician from June 2014 through July 2017.

Before joining the medical staff at Inland Physicians Medical Group, Dr. Gonzalez worked as a hospitalist at Mid-Hudson Physicians – Health Alliance Hospital of the Hudson Valley, a position he held from September 2017. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association, and he is also a member of the New York Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez also volunteered in the community to provide medical care to UN- and under-insured people.

He is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. Dr Gonzalez is married and has three children.
